Cromaine District Library serves residents of and visitors to Hartland, Brighton, Deerfield, Genoa, Oceola, and Tyrone Townships. Known for its friendly, high-quality service, Cromaine has received state and national awards for its innovative programs and services.
Cromaine Library offers an extensive calendar of cultural and enrichment events, including concerts, art lectures and classes, book clubs, maker space labs, and a huge variety of camps and classes for babies, preschoolers, elementary students, tweens, and teens. In addition to the calendar of events, a collection of nearly 100,000 items, including books on CD, e-books, DVDs, music CDs, large print books, magazines, newspapers, and countless downloadable items are all available to cardholders. They also help maintain the Hartland Music Hall which you can reserve or attend for various events. The over 1.2 million items of libraries across southeastern Michigan are also readily available and brought to cardholders five days per week through the TLN Shared Catalog.
