On Thursday, November 7, 2013 from 7:30 – 9:00 a.m. we will co-host a FREE Meet and Greet. It will take place at Tyrone Township Hall, 10408 Center Rd. Fenton, MI 48430. Tyrone Township & Universal Credit Services will be providing coffee, and a continental breakfast. Please bring business cards. Announcements, door prize raffles and speed introductions will begin at 8:15. There will be a 50/50 raffle with the Chamber proceeds benefiting the Fenton Regional and Hartland Area Chamber Scholarship programs.
Come network and pass referrals with fellow Chamber members in a casual, relaxed setting. Bring your business cards and elevator pitches. Learn about your fellow Chamber members to help each other promote your offerings. Group will meet from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30 at The Majestic Golf Course at 9600 Crouse Rd. in Hartland. Guests can attend two meetings free of charge. The October 9th Leg Up! meeting has been changed to an all day Entrepreneur Forum event on October 10th at Cleary University’s Johnson Center at 3725 Cleary Dr. in Howell
Out theme this year is Entrepreneurial Success, and we have a great line-up of speakers. The event will be held 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
Tickets are $30, and include the Livingston Economic Club luncheon, and can be purchased electronically at CLEARY.EDU/TICKETS.
LEGUP! is a program presented by the local Chambers of Commerce in Livingston County, as well as Cleary University, Livingston County SBTDC, SCORE, and the Brighton Library.
Free monthly meetings typically offer a casual “kitchen table” communication approach between entrepreneurs. Each session will offer opportunities for networking, announcements, and learning. Join us for a free ribbon cutting event at Brennan Investments on Thursday, October 3. There will be light refreshments and door prizes. Ribbon cutting at 5:30 p.m. Event to be held at 521 East Grand River Ave. in Howell.

- Most Colorful – Five Sparrows
Held in conjunction with Heritage Day held on Saturday, September 21, local area businesses and organizations were encouraged to place a scarecrow at their business made with any materials they chose; display it; and then solicit votes from the community. The winners each received a $10 Meijer gift card, along with bragging rights.
